The PetSmart Associate Assistance Foundation’s annual fundraiser is coming again this year in October. Last year we donated multiple gift certificates to help support The PetSmart Associate Assistance Foundation (PAAF) a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that was formed in 2011 to provide financial assistance to Petsmart associates and their families suffering emergency hardships. When events such as natural disasters and sudden and severe personal crisis occur – they help associates caught in the middle. The foundation is funded by donations from PetSmart and outside sources to help.
Financial support is extremely important to the PetSmart Associate Assistance Foundation, they rely completely on donations to help fund the program. One of the ways they do that is by holding a raffle and silent auction. They auction off gift cards, merchandise, and services donated by businesses and organizations like Print Your Pet. All the proceeds this year from the raffle and silent auction go to benefit the foundation, which will in turn benefit the associates in need.
The Be the Difference raffle and silent auction is held at the home office of Petsmart in Phoenix, and provides over 1,200 corporate associates the ability to purchase raffle tickets to win donated items or place silent auction bids. The money from the raffle tickets and the silent auction will go directly into the foundation.
